Urban Poverty

Over 2 million people in namma Bengaluru need a helping hand from the city. In countless ways - including education, health and shelter - their experience of deprivation demands answers from us, and solutions that are effective in bridging their economic gaps. Can we put each child in school, can we ensure a minimum security of health for all in the city, can we provide a roof to every family? Let us put forth a wealth of ideas to defeat the poverty of our fellow citizens.

In addition to giving the Support to the needy people. Steps to eliminate the poverty need to be initiated. Urban poor people doesnt know where to approach help. An ABIDe Bengaluru organisation for Urban Poverty can be created and the organisation can safeguard the Urban poor. Eg: Organisation has to Monitor Beggars / handicapped who need a support has to be brought to this organisation and they should be provided jobs in the Abide Bengaluru upcoming projects. Monitor Children - 'who are forced to beg' and they should be brought to the child care homes by doing this there are chances of reducing the Children kidnapping crimes. One of the reason for this crime is to make money by leasing the children to other beggars. More People can be employed to monitor the lanes, i saw a board saying "Do not dirty this place - people doing so will be fined Rs. 500/-" but there was nobody to monitor the place.
